Astra is an American public launch vehicle company based in Alameda, California. The company, formerly known as "Stealth Media Company" and "Astra Space Inc.", was founded in 2016 by Chris and Adam London. Astra developed it own launch vehicle for commercial and military missions. In November 2021, Astra launched a payload into orbit for the first time with the Rocket 3 rocket. The two-stage Rocket 3 launch vehicle has a payload capacity of 25 to 150 kg to a 500 km Sun-synchonous orbit making this rocket very well suited for launching small satellites such as CubeSats. Learn all about the different launches of the commercial Astra rocket from the American space company Astra thanks to this overview!
